Our Story

Alex Turik started his real estate career in 2008 with a single residential project. During the Great Financial Crisis, he seized the opportunity to acquire distressed commercial and residential properties in the Midwest. In 2009, he founded HAN Capital, focusing on niche real estate sectors such as self-storage, manufactured housing, RV parks, and campgrounds. Since then, HAN Capital has been involved in over $200 million worth of real estate transactions, encompassing self-storage, senior housing, multifamily, and industrial properties.

After selling a real estate portfolio in 2015, Alex pursued his passion for technology by diversifying into venture capital. Having successfully invested in private market real estate and VC with his friends and family circle, Alex decided to share his investments with the outside world. This led to the creation of AYT Ventures, an investment club that includes capital from high-net-worth investors and family offices from all over the world.
